August 2012 Twitter Highlights from David Schein

  • 08/28/2012: Note the tragedy at Empire State Bldg last week was an employment-related crime. Violence in the workplace is a major and growing concern.
  • 08/21/2012: I find it fascinating that there has been so little publicity about claims of sexual harassment filed by male members of Napolitano’s DHS.
  • 08/16/2012: Dodd-Frank Rules are pretty lame, but at least Citigroup & Chiquita shareholders voted down big CEO packages. Maybe this will catch on?
  • 08/16/2011: As pro-business as I am, I am disturbed at the often excessive pay, perks and severance packages for executives at large, public companies.
  • 08/07/2011: Look for employees to pay more in both premium share and co-pays, although Obamacare has limits on “affordable” care costs for insurance.
  • 08/07/2011: National Business Group on Health reported that large employers expect a 7% increase in health ins costs for 2013. Small bus. gen pay more.
