Kevin Ferrell

Senior Producer/Technical Director

Kevin began his radio career in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia in 1977. He worked at several local stations under the radio monikers: Lee Michaels, Mike Robins, Kevin O’Brian, and, of course, Kevin Ferrell. He then worked for five years as a disc jockey in the Philadelphia area before returning to Richmond in to become a full-time newscaster for a 5-station radio group. During this time, he found the opportunity to pursue his passion for production, working on commercials, talk-overs, and other similar projects. He eventually became the Production Director for the group. In 2005, the station group was purchased by a larger corporation, and Kevin’s position was eliminated as a result of corporate downsizing. Kevin then formed Alpha Omega Audio, LLC, an independent audio recording studio. He is a US Army veteran and attended Virginia Commonwealth University.
