Dr. David Schein provides that special mixture of important subject matter presented in an entertaining fashion. Comfortable in front of large groups or in boardrooms, he speaks about improving business productivity by understanding the human side of business. His topics cover a wide range of employment related topics, including sexual harassment, Americans with Disabilities Act, substance abuse in the workplace, better hiring practices, weapons in the workplace, development of an ethics program, and dispute resolution approaches.

Background: Dr. Schein is a consultant and trainer on employment and dispute resolution issues. Through Claremont Management Group, Inc. he provides consulting and training on business and employment matters to many businesses and entrepreneurs from offices in Virginia and Texas. His expert analysis and counsel in employment and dispute resolution matters is based on over thirty years of practical experience, including a decade with Fortune 50 companies. Dr. Schein has done numerous seminars and training sessions from coast to coast. He is presently an Assistant Professor for Virginia State University and an Adjunct Associate Professor for University of Maryland University College. He has served as a faculty member at the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia, the University of Mary Washington, and other prestigious universities.

Thomas P. Timmins

…is a Co-founder and a former President of CMG. He is now a Senior Consultant and Trainer. His years of college teaching experience in a department of business and working in both Fortune 500 and smaller entrepreneurial companies enable him to bring a unique perspective to personnel policy issues. His work with small to medium size employers and the recognition that problems with personnel matters were becoming a major distraction to company management and affecting profitability, was the impetus behind the formation of Claremont Management Group, Inc.

Mr. Timmins is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including the American Society for Training and Development, the National Association of Health Underwriters, and the Greater Houston Partnership Small Business Issues Committee. He holds the following degrees: M.B.A. – Auburn University, M.A. – Indiana University, B.A. – Hanover College, and the RHU designation from Northeastern University.

…is a Senior Consultant and Trainer for CMG.  Dr. Harris currently provides strategic and crisis management consulting services in Florida and New York City for Claremont Management Group (CMG), Houston, TX. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in education, business, and government. In recent years he has worked for organizations requiring structural changes in their operations to give them a competitive advantage in the markets they serve. In 2004, the Tampa Bay Business Journal included him on their “Who’s Who” list of the top 250 people in Tampa Bay business.

Prior to CMG, Dr. Harris worked for Chicago based National-Louis University (NLU) for over 10 years at two of their out-of-state campuses located in McLean, Virginia and Tampa, Florida. In 1994, he was appointed adjunct professor in the College of Management and Business at NLU’s campus serving Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. During this period of time he continued to provide management consulting services to corporate, government , and International clients. In April, 2003, he was appointed Executive Director of NLU’s Florida Regional Campus. He left NLU in April 2005 after designing and implementing a three year strategy to give the regional campus a competitive advantage in the Florida health care and public education Market.

Before NLU, Dr. Harris worked for several crisis management corporations, Georgetown University Graduate School, and Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He earned his doctorate at Columbia University and also served in the US Navy. Dr. Harris lives in Tampa, FL and New York City.
